Being an advisor, I have found a greater sense of happiness
and fulfilment in what I do, which is to help secure and change the lives of
others.
Growing up, I believed that having a high-paying job and a
well-known career in the IT industry was the only way to find fulfilment in
life. To meet expectations, I earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science
and even considered moving forward up to a Doctorate degree.
To earn more money, I worked a lot of shifts, including
overtime and holidays. Though the income was great, I found myself paying more
in taxes and ending up with nearly the same amount of money as if I had only
worked regular hours. The time I spent working tirelessly for a couple of
dollars took away valuable moments I could have spent with my wife and family.
I quickly realized that this was not something I could
picture myself doing: spending 30-40 years slaving away at work for a fixed
amount of money in exchange for time that I could never get back. Time is a
luxury that should be spent with loved ones.
Gratefully, I was introduced to the financial industry in
2010, then to Greatway in 2019. Greatway opened new doors for me. The income
opportunity enabled me to pay off my student loan debts and live a comfortable
life while travelling with my family.
My husband and I,
being both advisors,
have found a greater
